- From classic to quality 4.0 and 5.0 – conditions and consequences
In the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution, there are many changes that organizations must face. There is a need to adapt to functioning in new conditions while accepting solutions that have been proven in practical operations. In the conditions of Industry 4.0, changes also affect quality solutions. The aim of the article is to show the conditions for the emergence of quality 4.0, its understanding and consequences. Moreover, presenting the impact of Industry 4.0 on the improvement of 4.0 quality. These problems are shown in relation to the published research results of selected authors and our own research. An important goal is also to refer to society 5.0 and quality 5.0. The article reviews works on the issues of quality 4.0, presents selected research results and the results of own research obtained on the basis of an original survey addressed to 300 Polish enterprises with an implemented QMS.
- Aspects of sustainable development in the labeling of food products
The main aim of the article was an attempt to determine the extent to which suppliers of selected groups of food products available in Biedronka and Lidl retail chains use optional labels related to sustainable development. An additional goal was to try to determine whether the selection of this type of labeling is different for different groups of food products. The study consisted of analyzing the labeling regarding sustainable development on the packaging of selected food products available in selected branches of the Lidl and Biedronka retail chains located in the Tricity. The study was qualitative in nature and used the method of non-participant and hidden observation, the method of comparative analysis, as well as the method of synthesis and logical inference. The study is of a pilot nature and will be the basis for further detailed research.
- TQM as the basis for pro-quality changes in higher education
Presentation of the most important conclusions from research conducted in various regions of the world and own observations presenting the impact of the TQM concept on management effects in higher education institutions. Research design/research methodology/concept: A literature study was used according to the methodological recommendations of J. Creswell. The conclusions drawn from the considerations were based primarily on the inductive approach.
