  • Transmission of the signal by hearing protectors with adjustable attenuation in the presence of an acoustic pulse (21)
Hearing protectors with adjustable attenuation are increasingly used to protect the hearing of people exposed to impulse noise. The advantage of using this type of protector is the improved perception of hearing useful signals compared to passive earmuffs. However, despite the significant advantages of protectors with adjustable attenuation, the effect of "blocking" sound transmission under hearing protectors (i.e. limiting the signal transmission by hearing protectors) can be observed during their use, occurring immediately after the appearance of an acoustic impulse. The article presents the analysis of the transmission of the acoustic signal under hearing protectors with adjustable attenuation in the event of an acoustic impulse.
