• New forms of employment europoejskim market work in the context of technological change and pandemic-19 COVID
Aim of this article is to discuss the most important changes in the forms of employment on the European labor market in the context of technological change, civilization and culture, but also in relation to the pandemic coronavirusand other crises of an economic nature. The authors put forward the main thesis that changes in the forms of employment take place both due to the transformations of the markets and generational changes related to the Z and Smart generations, which are entering or will enter the labor market in the near future. This generation, brought up from birth on new technologies, will probably organize the work order differently, therefore it is worth paying attention to the formula in which young people will want to work, combining it with personal development and their own aspirations. In this context, an overall overview of the most important forms of work that already exist on the European labor market has been made, highlighting both their most important aspects and their differences.
  • Remote work. The benefits and perversions
This text concerns remote work, mainly analyzed in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic that took over the world in 2020 and, what is worse, is still ongoing, surprising new mutations of this virus. Hence, research on remote work in this context is in statu nascendi . Therefore, reflections on this subject are presented here in the form of an essay, based mainly on hermeneutics, empirical data, but to a large extent also on intuition. The conducted studies show that an especially important issue is the analysis of remote work in the context of the syndromes of redundant work, work without meaning, but also in the context of the loneliness syndrome growing in the modern world. Therefore, these issues are presented against the background of the explosion of remote work - characteristic of the pandemic year 2020 - and taking into account the technological basis for its development. In addition, the opinions of employees and employers on this topic are presented. These opinions show that remote work, to a much greater extent than before the pandemic, will become permanent in practice. This is mainly due to the economic, social and environmental values of remote work. They are analyzed, but at the same time the analyzes show that such work is not free from perversions. Hence, it is of paramount importance to optimize the proportion between remote and non-remote work. This is a difficult challenge, above all (but not only) for economists. It requires interdisciplinary knowledge and a holistic and non - extrapolative approach.

  • Remote work in a pandemic - selected issues
The coronavirus epidemic has increased the importance of remote work and its popularity in companies. Remote work has so far been mainly a tool for acquiring and retaining employees who are particularly valuable for the company, an important element in creating attractive employment conditions. In the conditions of a pandemic, work performed remotely is no longer just a benefit, and has become a means of maintaining physical distance - an important component of everyday life. The changes taking place today in the field of communication methods, the dynamic development of information technologies, intensified during the pandemic, affect the shape of the work-life relationship. On the one hand, remote work may disrupt the borderline between work and non-work life, but at the same time it creates an opportunity to deal with this challenge. The aim of the article is to present selected results of empirical research devoted to the issue of remote work during a pandemic, with particular emphasis on the benefits and opportunities as well as limitations related to this way of working, especially in the area of reconciling professional and personal roles.

  • Employer's powers to prevent an unvaccinated worker against COVID-19 from working in Israel and Poland
The article addresses the problem of the presence of workers unvaccinated against COVID-19 in workplaces. The results of medical research show that the presence of an unvaccinated person increases the risk of COVID-19 infection also for vaccinated people. The discussion on the admissibility of excluding access to a workplace for an unvaccinated person is based on resolving the conflict of fundamental values: on the one hand, the right to privacy, dignity and freedom of work, and on the other hand, the right to life, the right to safe and hygienic working conditions and the employer's right to restrict economic business risks . In the judgments described above, the Israeli labor courts confirmed the legal nature of the ban on the entry of unvaccinated workers to the workplace, when there were no other possibilities to limit the epidemic risk they posed to other employees and clients of the plant. The article also analyzes similar problems in the Polish legal system. The employer has a legal possibility to process personal data on vaccination of employees, although the relevant provisions would require clarification. Failure to vaccinate can not be used as a ground for disqualification, but is sufficient to justify termination in those cases where it is not possible to isolate the unvaccinated employee from other employees or clients.
