• Reclamation of land degraded by mining activities
    Indicating the legal basis for conducting reclamation to the extent necessary for its proper design and execution, with particular regard to the provisions of geological and mining law, the article presents the principles of reclamation of areas degraded by mining activities, where unfavorable transformation of the natural shape of the surface occurred, as well as pollution of soil and soil . While discussing the issue of reclamation of areas where unfavorable transformation of the natural surface configuration occurred, the principles of its implementation with the use of waste were pointed out. The article also presents the results of reclamation carried out by mining plants in 2007-2016.
  • Technical aspects of post-mining mining revitalization
    Mining restructuring is associated with the liquidation of mines. It causes not only technical but also social problems. The answer to the question of what to do with property after liquidated mines is of fundamental importance. Is it possible to manage in a socially useful way the underground excavations remaining after the mines and with what technical problems should be measured to preserve for future generations at least a fragment of the post-industrial heritage of mining. The article presents the concepts of using underground excavations for purposes: cultural, medicinal and economic, focusing only on technical aspects of the use of underground facilities.

    The article presents issues related to the recognition of professional qualifications acquired in the Member States of the European Free Trade Agreement (EFTA) or in the Swiss Confederation in relation to the so-called mining regulated professions. In addition, the example of Ukrainian citizens discusses the possibility of employing underground mining companies of third country nationals.
