  • Autumn School of Technical Safety (10)
    On October 9-11, 2019, the Second "Autumn School of Technical Safety" took place in Wisła. The purpose of the international conference was to present scientific, technical, technological and organizational achievements in the field of machine construction and industrial installations in terms of increasing their operational safety, especially in view of the challenges of the new industrial revolution, i.e. Industry 4.0.

  • Plenary session IEC / TC 61 (12)
    On October 21-25, 2019, a plenary meeting of the Technical Committee IEC / TC 61 Safety of household and similar electrical appliances was held in Shanghai, which was attended by the Deputy Chairman of KT 63 for Universal Electrical Equipment, a representative of Whirlpool Polska.

  • Microbiology in Polish Standards (14)
    In the Food, Agriculture and Forestry Sector in PKN / KT 3 for Food Microbiology and in PKN / KT 35 for Milk and Milk Products three standards have been developed in Polish language versions, two of which have already been published.
  • Lighting fittings (16)
    For many years, lighting fixture manufacturers have needed a standard that sets out functional requirements for product evaluation. This was due to the huge variety of products available on the market. Many of them do not even meet the minimum requirements, despite the high technical parameters declared by the manufacturers. A particular threat of unfair competition concerns the dynamically developing LED lighting market.
