      Whistleblowers reporting money laundering should be guaranteed anonymity and protected against repressive measures. Such a regulation has been in force since October 31, 2021. To this end, institutions from the financial sector should develop and implement internal procedures for reporting actual or potential violations of regulations.

    • Agreement on the suspension of the application of labor law - rules for concluding (16)
      The agreement on the suspension of the application of labor law means that introducing changes unfavorable for employees does not require the consent of each employee (as part of the agreement of the parties) or a notice changing the working or pay conditions. The maximum period for which the agreement is concluded is 3 years. Immediately after conclusion, the employer submits the agreement to the competent district labor inspector.

      In addition to remuneration, an employee performing work on public holidays is entitled to an allowance of 100% of the remuneration for each hour of work on that day. This is the position of the Supreme Court. However, according to the National Labor Inspectorate and the Labor Ministry, an employee is entitled to two 100% bonuses - one for exceeding the average weekly standard, and the other for working on holidays. The employer decides how to settle the accounts with the employee.
