• TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) - step three. Influence of machine lubrication and regulation on product quality
Who among us does not like cycling among meadows and forests? It's a lovely way of spending time ... Imagine, Dear Reader, that in the middle of the planned route, the chain will break, the gears will stop working, and you are stuck in the middle of the forest during a thunderstorm. And you may be furious with fate, but ... Are you sure you have properly adjusted gears? Do you know how to properly operate them while driving? Have you forgotten to lubricate the chain? Lubricated and adjusted equipment is of great importance for driving comfort. The same goes for production machines. Experience shows that the appropriate setting of the device parameters is one of the key aspects affecting the quality of the product, and at the same time one of the most difficult stages during production launch. Here is an example. Regulations and customer expectations Let's move to a factory in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) sector producing food products packed in colored foil. We look there when the assortment changeover takes place.
  • Quality 4.0 - literature review
Andrea Chiarini. 2020. “Industry 4.0, quality management and TQM world. A systematic literature review and a proposed agenda for further research ”.
  • Modeling aimed at improving the quality of footwear
The paper presents selected physical properties of polyamide and polyester knitted fabrics used in the construction of shoe uppers. The aim of the study was the qualitative analysis of the interdependence of hygienic properties, such as: water vapor permeability and absorption, as well as water sorption and desorption of the tested materials. The main focus of the article was based on the properties of water absorption and the rate of its return under specific drying conditions without external support with the participation of a heat energy source. The water release capacity of individual materials was measured by means of the tangents of the desorption curves inclination at individual sections limited by time regimes.
  • Corporate social responsibility in the clothing industry - the perspective of the Polish consumer
The shift of production to poverty-stricken countries is accompanied by an approach focusing on making fashion trends available quickly and cheaply to consumers, and a demand-driven manufacturing system in the garment industry. The article focuses on: awareness, attitudes, ethical behavior and the perception of the quality of "fast fashion" products in the perspective of social responsibility. Based on the CAWI and PAPI methods, a survey of Polish consumers declaring purchasing behavior related to "fast fashion" was conducted. Research has shown that corporate social responsibility activities in the clothing industry are important to customers, however, price is the most important factor when making a purchasing decision. Assessing consumer awareness in the field of CSR can be used to guide future educational activities in this area, especially in the era of accelerated consumption and sustainable development goals.
  • Relationships of human resource management with models of intellectual capital measurement
The aim of the article was to determine the relationship between human resource management (HRM) and intellectual capital (IC) of the organization. In order to achieve the goal, research methods were used, i.e. analysis and logical construction as well as analysis and criticism of the literature. The article consists of an introduction, theoretical and research part, a summary and a bibliography. The theoretical and research part includes a description of the following issues: personal function, KI, selected models for measuring KI and indicators for measuring human capital. It was found that there are direct and indirect relationships between HRM and KI measurement models in terms of: human capital characteristics, elements of HRM at the operational level. Indicators of KI measurement models can be used in the assessment of the implementation of the personnel function in terms of human resources management.
