  • Food safety culture in theory and practice

It is the threshold value and the minimum condition of all actions within the food chain, which translates directly into human health and life and a sense of its certainty. Unfortunately, it is often very often violated, due to the emergence of both accidental and deliberate threats. • The use of insourcing in improving the quality of products and services
The quality of products and services is one of the main criteria for making decisions about their purchase, both by individual clients and organizations operating on the market. Entrepreneurs who know the importance of quality undertake efforts to improve the quality of products or services offered. The basic decision made by the company's managers in the production of each complex service or product is to decide whether the components that make up the final product or service are to be manufactured within the organization's structure or are to be purchased outside the organization. This dilemma is known in the Anglo-Saxon literature under the phrase make or buy decision. The practice of the organization's functioning in its diversity shows that once the decision is made, the components are manufactured on the outside or, on the contrary, purchased for some time - the components purchased from an external supplier are, after some time, manufactured independently within the organization. Both industry and scientific literature abounds with examples and analyzes of outsourcing activities implemented so far inside the organization (outsourcing), however the opposite is still insufficiently described, i.e. including processes in the organizational structures whose product is a product or service previously purchased outside organization (insourcing). This article will present the results of research on the phenomenon of insourcing in organizations operating in Poland.
