• Procedures for handling damage caused by the historic mining industry in Saxony
    The problem of securing liquidated underground mines, whose origin often reaches even the fifteenth century, is an important and important issue from the point of view of ensuring universal security. Legal regulations in this respect impose on the representatives of the Saxon State Mining Authority the task of supervising and controlling such facilities. The article describes the procedures for dealing with mining damage caused by historical mining objects. At the same time, it indicates possible sources of financing for the protection, prevention and reclamation and revitalization of post-mining areas.

    The article presents the problems of selecting a mechanized wall cladding for mining and geological conditions. Based on a review of the literature, the notion of empowerment has been defined and the method used to date has been presented. The results of the study were presented, based on which it was proposed to carry out the assessment of the post-operation after the wall was completed.
