• Stress as an occupational hazard in the workplace (1)
Is it possible to specify emotional stress in threats in occupational risk assessment? Can it include interpersonal conflicts, fear of management's dissatisfaction, haste, fear of losing a job, stress (overload - work requires considerable effort, overtime) and mental stress - lack of concentration on the performed activity, work under time pressure, work at night, nervousness, rush, bravado?
  • Biological and chemical hazards at the workplace (2)
Occupational risk assessment associated with biological hazards creates many problems for employers. Until now, occupational exposure to biological agents has been highlighted mainly in healthcare facilities, while in other areas of employment this problem was not regulated by law and was treated marginally. Assessment of occupational risk posed by biological factors is a labor-intensive process, but required by law and enforced by the supervisory authorities over working conditions - the State Sanitary Inspection, the State Labor Inspectorate, the State Veterinary Inspection. A proper assessment of biological hazards requires extensive knowledge in this area.
  • For whom compulsory sanitary and epidemiological tests (4)
